The Role of Homosexuals in Child Molestation

When researching the problem of homosexual child molestation, it is just as educational to observe who is defending the homosexuals and why. This is clearly one of those subjects, where you don't see a calm, rational debate from both sides. Most of the web sites that deal with this subject are liberal web sites that lash out with hatred and slander against Dr. Paul Cameron. Dr. Cameron has actually published studies on homosexuality addressing such issues as the illusion of homosexual monogamy and the extent of homosexual child molestation. The homosexual community and their liberal allies do not want anyone doing an objective study of homosexual behavior.

Several liberal web sites do their best to "kill the messenger" preferring to demonize Dr. Cameron rather than think for one moment that his reports are the truth. One criticism of Dr. Cameron's work on one web site complains that his research on child molestation relies heavily on two studies done in 1983 and 1984. In fact, Dr. Cameron's paper on homosexual child abuse mentions studies done in 1948, 1970, 1978, 1983, 1984, 1987, and 1990. Also, many of the studies require people to supply information voluntarily. Given this fact, it seems very likely that the number of homosexual molestations were UNDERCOUNTED in the studies. Victims of homosexual molestations would be much more inclined to hide these incidents to avoid further trauma that might result from having the incidents made public. (Victims of heterosexual abuse, however, are much more likely to get sympathy and little to no stigma and are therefore much more likely to speak out.) One wonders if the critics of Dr. Cameron even read his report all the way through.

One truly bizarre defense of homosexuals seriously claims that the molestations of young boys by men should not be counted as "homosexual" molestation. Well, with reasoning like that one could say the sky is yellow, and the grass is red.

Additional criticisms of Dr. Cameron's work complain of the sampling size in the studies. Dr. Cameron cites existing data and uses this data to reach his conclusions, much as any other scientist would do. In fact, the lack of national studies of homosexual child molestation is a glaring omission by our government. The existing studies, that involve several thousand individual cases, indicate that a relatively small population of homosexuals (approx. 2% of the U.S. population) commits up to 40% of the child molestation. If our government were responsible and actually did care about "the children," a nation-wide study of this problem would have been done years ago. Could it be that the friends of the Gay community to protect them from even more damning statistical data have blocked a nation-wide study of homosexual child molestation by our Federal Government???

One additional significant point is that an organization, called NAMBLA, has existed since the 1960s. NAMBLA stands for the North American Man-Boy Love Association, which advocates legalizing homosexual relations between men and boys. These individuals often appear in "Gay Pride" parades. Homosexual advocates in England have pushed to lower the age of consent to 16 years. In Holland, the age of consent has been lowered to 15, thanks to a large degree to homosexual activists. Now, can you think of a heterosexual organization calling for a lowered age of consent? Even if such an organization existed, would anyone tolerate it marching with him or her in a parade?

There is one study, in which actual perpetrators of molestations were asked to identify their sexual orientation:

 In fact, said Cameron, in the only study (Erickson, Walbek, and Seely, 1988)
 in which perpetrators were asked to declare their sexual orientation, almost the
 opposite was found to be true: 86% of child molesters identified themselves as
 homosexual or bisexual.

Clearly, child molestation by homosexuals is a serious national problem. The problem becomes even more alarming when one considers studies that show that people, who are the victims of homosexual molestation, frequently go on to commit homosexual molestations themselves. One long-standing claim about homosexuals is that they "breed" by molesting young victims and thereby pulling new people into their "community."

The frequency of molestation is much, much higher for homosexual molesters versus heterosexual molesters. One estimate suggests that a typical homosexual molester commits twenty times more molestations than a typical heterosexual molester.

The only way to cure our society of homosexual molestation would be to break the chain of molestation by rounding up all the homosexuals in America so that they no longer can get access to children. A healthy, moral society that really did care about "the children" would have done this years ago. The liberal mass media, however, puts the Gay community above any serious criticism, and the fact that their “Gay friends” will molest thousands of children is the final result of liberal policies and liberal control of the mass media.
