Minority crime is a frequent occurrence in every American big city. Often the mass media tries not to mention that the perpetrator is an "African American" or Latino (which makes it a little hard to get the public's help finding the suspect when the media won't say if he's Black.) Not too long ago, there were two Black serial rapists operating around UCLA preying on naive, young college coeds. Posters were put up around the university showing the sketches of the Black suspects, but the local evening news ignored this story since (for the liberals) protecting the Black race from being negatively stereotyped is more important than catching the criminals. In the last few weeks, there have been two shocking cases of Black crime. One story received only minor coverage while the other story was buried. One case involved a Nigerian student, who killed three people at a Virginia law school and wounded three others. The second case involved a home-grown Black, who is charged with murdering four people in Kansas City and cooking and eating part of the last victim. (It seems a little odd that the cannibal was the African American and not the Black straight out of Africa.)

The college shooting incident occurred on Jan. 16th. A Nigerian, who was allowed to become a naturalized US citizen, Peter Odighizuwa, went on a shooting spree and murdered three people at the Appalachian School of Law in Virginia. His victims included Professor Thomas Blackwell, Law School Dean Anthony Sutin, and Angela Dales. Three female students were also wounded during the rampage. (It seems likely he may have been shooting all the women students, who refused to date him.) The Nigerian had (predictably) flunked out of law school last year, but he was allowed to return to the school. He continued to do badly and was being dismissed from the law school on Jan. 16th, the day of the shootings. One student at the law school said ``the dean bent over backward to get him enrolled again.''

As if the shooting spree isn't bad enough, the Nigerian had a history of mental instability. Still he was allowed to become a U.S. citizen!! Dean Sutin was a liberal, who had served on Clinton's Presidential campaign in 1992 and who had adopted an Oriental baby. Sutin had helped out Peter Odighizuwa financially, but his only repayment from the Nigerian was the shooting spree.

At least, two White students retrieved guns from their cars and got Peter to drop his gun and surrender before he could kill any more people. Judging from the names of the victims, it seems likely that most, if not all, of the victims were White, but as usual there is no demand from the liberal media that a "hate crime" prosecution be launched against the crazed African. The heroic actions of the armed (White) citizens was mentioned by newsmax.

Normally, a Black shooting six people and killing three would be the worst Black crime for a particular month. This month, however, has been an exception. Another horrific case involving Marc Sappington in Kansas City has been reported. This incident involved a home grown Black, who is suspected of murdering four people. This story appeared on a local news web site (Ref. 1) in Kansas, but has been withheld from the mainstream national news media, which doesn't want us to read unflattering news of Black crime.

At least one victim of Sappington's serial murder spree was White, David Marshak. Another victim, Michael Weaver Jr., may also have been White. If the races were reversed, prosecutors would almost immediately assume that a hate crime had been committed, but no mention of possible hate crime charges was made in this case. Sappington is also charged with kidnapping a 36-year-old woman and stealing her car.

The impression, created by biased coverage by the liberal news media, is that Whites commit most of the hate crimes. In reality interracial murders by a stranger are about five times more likely to involve a Black killer and a White victim than the reverse situation. (Ref. 2) The total number of Whites murdered by Blacks since 1960 is about 50,000, almost the same number of Americans killed in the Vietnam War.

The failure of the mainstream media to devote a great deal of attention to the Sappington and Odighizuwa cases is an ongoing example of media bias. In contrast, the mainstream media devoted years of attention to the Matthew Shepard case, which involved the death of one homosexual. Not long after Shepard's murder, a 13-year-old boy, Jesse Dirkhising was sadistically raped and left to die by two homosexuals. The mainstream media quietly swept that story under the carpet since it didn't fit their politically correct agenda. The Peter Odighizuwa murders are sensational because he should have never been allowed in this country and because he shot a total of four women students in addition to the dean and one professor. The Marc Sappington murders are sensational because he killed four people and ATE ONE OF THEM! Still the mainstream media showed little interest in Odighizuwa and virtually no interest in the cannibal. How much more glaring can media bias get?
